2021 Red Wine Blend
Howell Mountain
Dark garnet in color with pronounced aromatics of black cherry, leather, black pepper, and a toasty finish. Full-bodied with elevated spice and slight components of new French oak. Balanced forward fruit of black currents and a long-weighted finish. Plenty of mountain tannins to enjoy for many years to come.

Tasting Notes
Ripe red and blue fruits, cedary spice, and herbs all emerge from the 2021 Red Blend, a juicy, complex, medium-bodied blend of 66% Zinfandel, 24% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the rest Petite Sirah. It picks up some substantial tannins on the finish, but it's nicely balanced, has good purity, and lots of charm. I'd happily drink a glass any time over the coming 4-6 years, if not longer.
